What is Platelet-Rich Plasma Therapy?
Platelets are best known for clotting blood after an injury — but they also carry a powerful cargo of growth factors that orchestrate your body's entire healing response. Platelet-Rich Plasma (PRP) therapy harnesses this biology by extracting a concentrated dose of your own platelets and delivering it precisely where healing is needed most.

Blood Draw
A small sample of your blood — similar to a routine lab draw — is collected in our clinic. The entire process takes under 30 minutes from start to finish.
Centrifugation
Your blood sample is placed in a centrifuge that spins at high speed, separating the platelets and growth factors from red blood cells — concentrating them into a potent healing plasma.
Activation & Preparation
The platelet-rich plasma is carefully activated and prepared for application. This concentrate contains 5–10x the normal growth factor concentration found in whole blood.
Application to Wound
Your physician applies the PRP directly to the wound bed, where the growth factors signal your body's own healing cells to regenerate tissue, form new blood vessels, and close the wound.
